Our Homes

ABLE provides accommodation and support across four homes located within the Wiltshire communities of Melksham, Chippenham, and Devizes, offering a total of 23 places for individuals with a range of support needs.

Our services encompass a spectrum of accommodation options, from Registered Care Homes providing 24-hour support, seven days a week, to more independent living arrangements within our Supported Living Services, including shared group homes and individual bedsit-style accommodation. This variety enables us to provide personalised support that reflects each individual's needs, abilities, preferences, and aspirations.

Each home is staffed by a dedicated team of Support Workers and Ancillary Staff, under the leadership of a Registered Manager or Project Manager, as appropriate to the service. Our teams are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

To ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care and support, our staff work closely with Community Mental Health Teams, Social Workers, General Practitioners (GPs), and other healthcare professionals. Together, they develop and review individual support plans that are tailored to each person's unique circumstances and goals.

We encourage all individuals to regard their accommodation as their home and to play an active role in decisions affecting their daily lives and living environment. Through meaningful participation, choice, and personal responsibility, we support individuals to develop independent lifestyles and achieve their full potential. Wherever possible, people are encouraged and supported to access local services, facilities, and community activities, promoting inclusion, citizenship, and a sense of belonging within the wider community.
